good evening, or rather, almost good morning, as we’re on the cusp of midnight. haven’t taken much time to write lately. I’m still working on finding a new job. Nicole helped me clean up my resume a bit tonight, and it looks better. I had some good news on the school front, accepted into one program thus far at least, which is excellent news. I’ve been doing what I can in the absence of a job to do my part, but I know Nicole’s probably sick of having me at home most of the day while she’s out working, and I’m trying to change that. I’ve not been around, at least writing, a whole lot lately, as you can see. and this is the first entry I’ve written from my desktop in a long while; I’ve generally decided to write entries on my laptop nigh exclusively, as it’s easier. but I’m already here, and it’s late, and I should sleep soon, so no sense in firing up another computer, even if it is just in sleepmode. I won’t be returning to San Francisco until Thursday, most likely, if not Friday, instead of tomorrow (Tuesday). it’s bittersweet because I miss Nicole dearly and want to be back on my own turf, but at the same time I’m glad to have a little more time with the family up here. She was chill about the whole thing, and said not to rush of course. She’s sweet. (more…)

as i drove home tonight it was below freezing (about 31° or so); I lost track of time whilst at Vanessa’s. I wanted to see her again before I go back to San Francisco, since she’s one of my best friends of course, and she asked if I wanted to hang out. I was going to see Ash sometime today, but it didn’t work out like that. It’s been an interesting day. (more…)
