    It’s been a long week, somehow, and I’m glad to be in a somewhat better spot tonight. The election went well on Tuesday, as I said before, yet I was a bit scared about my meeting with my advisor on Friday. I hadn’t gotten as much done as I would have liked on my thesis, and I resolved to work on it all night Thursday as a result. Don’t try this at home, kids, for it’s oft-fruitless and inane.     well, it’s official…. Barack Obama is our next president, and I am extremely happy about this. I was worried today if he could do it, and last night I couldn’t sleep very well, probably as a result — but he did it. I’ll not say more, not now at least — that’s all that needs to be said. I’m just glad all of the campaign stress is over — it’s been a long time. (more…)
