Nicole and I are leaving for Disneyland on Sunday morning, just so everyone knows. we’re going to be gone from Sunday, obviously, until Friday afternoon or so. and it’s going to be fantastic. i will be out of radio contact during this time, although for those of you who know my cell, feel free to text if you like. not too much, though, as I’ll be with Nicole and my fam, and generally too busy having fun to respond. i’m back. I got my computer about a week ago, set it up (all night or so), and decided to forgo school the next day. it’s been a good week thus far, and today’s veteran’s day, so no school today either. the new computer’s 3GHz (Athlon 64), 4Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD — that’s about all you need to know. and i’m running Ubuntu 7.10 “Gutsy Gibbon.” I know I’ve not written much lately, and it’s been because of not only my computer but also school, as usual. I’ve got so much to do before this semester’s over, and it’s scary as hell, really. I just have to get it all done, but it’s still intimidating.
however, I’m going to Disneyland next Sunday (6 days from now!), which will be fantastic. I can’t fucking wait. I’ve not been in probably 10 years, so it’ll be another return, a throwback to my childhood. and I’ll be surrounded by family and loved ones — my darling Nicole, my parents, my sister, my grandparents, my uncle and aunt and cousins — it’s going to be a busy week! in any case, I’ve got a lot of homework to do — for Comp Lit tomorrow — and still working on it. it’s been a nice weekend though. Nicole and I watched a shitload of movies — The Birds, History of the World Part 1, Fallen, and one other which I can’t remember at the moment. good stuff though. anyways, I must go.
