    My Tuesdays and Thursdays are always hectic it seems. No time to write anything now. Gotta get some sustenance then go read my Latin for class today. heh… anyways… ill catch you all later.     speaking of politics everyone, i voted democrat down the board hopefully you all saw my polemic against Measure 36 perhaps a week ago… but yeah. otherwise…
    in other news, i’m overwhelmed these days. well not overwhelmed, just got a fuckload of homework every night, and it wears on me after awhile. i was planning on going on a retreat with the church this weekend, but i can’t, i just can’t, due to the enormity of my load of homework and the fact that i have two (count ‘em, two) tests next Thursday. so fuck that. i can’t afford to not study all weekend and dick around. my friend remarked on this too…. asking who the fuck has majors where they can afford not to study all weekend?!?!? all a bunch of fucking business majors, i swear… so yeah. not gonna happen. i am however going to mass tonight, which is cool. tonight i need to make sure i read my Latin for tomorrow, because I didn’t get all of it done yesterday and I felt bad in class when my teacher called on me.
    otherwise, things are good. greek is going really well — and the story gets more and more interesting as it progresses. we’re reading a law case by the Athenian orator Lysias, called Huper tou Eratosthenous phonou apologia — (defence) On the Murder of Eratosthenes, in which the protagonist, Euphiletos, is indicted on a count of homicide since he kills Eratosthenes, the man his wife is cheating on him with. It’s fucking uproarious, racy, often hilarious shit. Who would have thought the Athenians were just as fucked up as we are in many ways? Apparently when Euphiletos goes to catch Eratosthenes in the act, he brings his boys, his fuckin crew and shit, to help him out. They’ve got torches and shit, it’s insane, seems like a witchhunt or Inquisition… and they go in and fuck this cat up. Our prof said that Athenians seemed to love that kinda shit, witnessing it and all… hence our love of public spectacles too, such as on shows like Springer… bahaha…
    Things are good though… I’m happy these days. I hope the rest of you are doing fairly well too. Music these days, you ask? What have I been listening to? Not much new shit…. My boy Rubix uploaded me some Artifacts, which I should check out…. Tame One and some other cat… from like 1994… which is ill so far. Otherwise not much though, some dope shit needs to come out

    i dont tend to write much on the weekends. it’s just a habit of mine i guess, writing more during school, i seem to be more inspired then. right now however i’m not all that inspired either… it’s a monday. out of it. i even managed to get my greek done this morning, surprisingly — and it was surprisingly coherent as well. me and jenns anni was good yesterday, we went to olive garden to get some dinner (i even dressed up sorta), then we went back to her house and watched a dvd. pretty standard i guess, but we don’t always go out on formal dates, so it was nice. im out of it, spacing… sorry ill be back later prolly. peace.
